Career Chameleons

with Jenni Proctor

Monday 16 March 2009

We know that “ShiftHappens”. We have seen the video, been inspired by Jim Bright at a CDAA conference, andare now seeing massive “shift” happening day by day to workers all over our country. As we adapt our professional focus to assist clients in this time of economic uncertainty, we also recognize that social networking has snowballed in the last couple of years impacting on many aspects of an individual’s career development.

The rate of these changes is challenging to all of us. While the fundamentals of Career Development remain the same, our strategies need to adapt so that we maintain our relevance to our clients.

We all need to be Career Chameleons, able to adapt our focus, our delivery, our communication, so that we continue to provide our clients of all ages with the help they need at this time. Interactive and discussion based, this workshop will provide input then gather the shared wisdom of the participants to consider how we can be better career professionals by becoming Career Chameleons.
