Dear Queensland Colleagues
Just a quick heads up to another great Queensland Defence Event coming up soon!
Kind regards

Mapping the Battle Space
A battle cannot be fought without relevant and cutting edge information.
Due to the rapidly changing battlespace that military units operate in,
and the sensitive nature of operational information, Defence must
capture and analyse its own data. This data must then be used to create
and distribute material that will inform command decisions that directly
influence the outcome of a battle. You could contribute to battlespace
command and control by creating these tools that contribute to
successful Australian operations…

Are you prepared to help maximize the
tactical advantage of Australian Forces
during operations? If so…
Then ask your Guidance Officer about coming along
to an Open Day on Wednesday 29 July 2009
onboard the Navy’s Hydrographic Survey ship
HMAS Melville and meet soldiers from Army’s
1st Topographical Survey Squadron.
