Defence Force Recruitment Liaison Officers - Update

Dear Queensland Colleagues

I wanted to steal a couple of moments of your time to introduce myself and Kathy to you - we are Queensland's CDAA Defence Force Recruitment Liaison Officers for 2009 and it’s our role this year to facilitate communication between the Australian Defence Force Career Promotions Team and CDAA Queensland members. As always ADF has an exciting program of events planned for the upcoming year and Kathy Donaldson and I will be working to make sure you are kept abreast of these fantastic events.

In line with this I'd like to highlight some information that may be of interest to you -

DEFENCE FORCE RECRUITNG VISIT REQUEST- Could your school or organisation benefit from a visit by Defence Force Recruiting to learn more about ADF Jobs? Click here to access the Recruiting Visit Request Form. Defence are highly flexible in the presentations and enjoy trying new things. Speak with them today about a visit to your workplace or school. It is best to get in early to avoid disappointment.

GAP YEAR (Opening - 1st May 2009, click here for the brochure). For all school leavers (this year and last, Year12) Defence still has limited GAP Year positions available for Navy, Army and Air Force where people who are eligible can serve in Uniform for a 12 month period. This is an awesome opportunity for anyone who thinks they may enjoy Defence life but would prefer to gain some military experience, skills and check out our lifestyles.
