Volunteers needed for Career Check-up

During National Career Development Week we offered a "Career Health Check" to the public at a hall in Bulimba. We had a great contingent of volunteers and not quite enough clients, but those who came really appreciated the opportunity and the members who attended felt that they had contributed something to our community and raised the profile of our profession and of CDAA. We felt this would be a good thing to do a couple of times each year to continue to raise our profile in Brisbane, with the view that the more people who know about us the better it is for all of our careers as well as theirs!

We would love to have you come along as a volunteer to our next Career Check-up which is being supported by the State member for Brisbane Central, Grace Grace. We are holding it in conjunction with her community stall on the day of New Farm Markets so we should have a LOT of clients. Grace's office is organising media coverage prior to the event to promote this service to the community.
