Presenters’ Profiles

JUDY COLE, SageCo

Judy describes herself as a “failed retiree”!

From WRAC Lieutenant (Army Officer, UK), freelance journalist (Bermuda), IBM Salesperson (South Africa), to Director of her own IT Recruitment Agency (Sydney) she’s a seasoned survivor who thrives on change.

Judy and her former partner were swinging at anchor on their 45ft yacht in the Caribbean 18 months into their “retirement” dream of sailing around the world with their golf clubs, when they concluded the dream didn’t match reality.

They completed the circumnavigation, and Judy has reinvented herself yet again, leveraging her life experiences, skills and knowledge for the benefit of others approaching “retirement” age.

As a facilitator of ageing workforce workshops and retirement planning seminars, a transition coach and inspirational public speaker, Judy believes passionately in the benefits of multigenerational flexible workplaces.
