National Office Update

Dear colleagues

Further to my note in the last e-bulletin to farewell our former Executive Officer, Graham Pratt, I am pleased to advise that recruitment processes are now underway for an Executive Director and a full-time Member Services and PD Events Officer. The Executive Director role will be advertised nationally via Seek.com, the Australian Associations Forum and other networks. A Person and Job Description is available here and applications close on Tuesday, 25 October 2011.

Suzanne Curyer (PCDAA) has temporarily joined the National Office team to assist in staffing, recruitment and relocation of the office to larger premises in Adelaide.

Once these processes are complete I am confident our Association can look forward to a strong period of growth in 2012, allowing us to progress a range of initiatives in respect to enhanced member services, the development of a deeper research and evidence base and strengthened branding and marketing.

Carole Brown
National President
