In an initiative to better understand and represent the views of its members in regard to Australia’s most pressing career development issues, CDAA seeks your views for the second in a series of short member surveys. As a career professional working either directly with clients or in research or policy, you provide a unique perspective to inform government, business, the media and the broader community about the most significant career and employment issues facing individuals and organisations.

In this second survey of the Career Snapshots series, we are seeking members’ views about how career development contributes to Australia’s workforce development in the critical areas of current and future skills needs. Follow this link to complete the survey.

The Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET) has a dedicated scholarship program to support victims of natural disasters occurring in Australia. The program started with an initial pilot around the time of the Victoria bushfires in 2009. The National Disaster Scholarship Scheme has now been expanded to provide training assistance to individuals affected by major natural disasters that have occurred in Australia. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need, technical ability and interest in the nominated course/study area. The program also offers access to free career counselling.

ACPET wishes to include partners with specific expertise in career counselling to support scholarship applicants and recipients with their career options in terms of pursuing private tertiary education and training with an ACPET member. If you are interested in contributing to the Program please download and complete the form (ACPET National Disaster Scholarship Scheme EOI Form) and send to scholarships@acpet.edu.au.
