NOMINATIONS OPEN FOR ELECTION TO THE
CDAA NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

Nominations are now called from eligible members to join the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Career Development Association of Australia Incorporated.

Positions:

Vice-President (2 year term)
Treasurer (2 year term)
General Committee Member (Communications Portfolio) – (2 year term)
General Committee Member (Membership Portfolio) – (2 year term)

Members intending to nominate for the NEC are encouraged to familiarise themselves with Rules 25 – 30 of the Constitution that outline the duties of members of the NEC. Nominees are also strongly encouraged to review the new NEC sub-committee and portfolio document. These documents can be found in the Governance pages of the members’ area of our website: www.cdaa.org.au

Terms of Office
In accordance with the constitution, the positions of Vice-President, Treasurer, General Committee Member (Communications Portfolio), and General Committee Member (Membership Portfolio) are offered as 2 year terms.

Election process
The election of NEC members shall be conducted by secret postal ballot using a preferential voting system, under the control of a Returning Officer appointed by the current NEC who is not a nominee for election.

Your Nomination
Your nomination should be made in writing on the enclosed Nomination Form and signed by yourself and a Life Member, Fellow, Professional Member, Associate Member or Retired Member.

Please attach a brief Statement (maximum 300 words) detailing your professional background and your capability and interest in contributing to the future of the CDAA as a member of its national governing body.
