Professional Indemnity Insurance

Professional and Associate Members who require Professional Indemnity Insurance and have not yet forwarded their signed declaration form are asked to do so as soon as possible. Once declarations are received Members will be forwarded their certificates of cover. Forms can be downloaded from the CDAA website (PI Insurance Declaration form). Information on the cover is also available (FAQs).

NCDW 2009 - What is National Career Development Week?

National Career Development Week (NCDW), now in its third year, is the week where we celebrate all of the career development activities held throughout the year across Australia. In 2009 this week of celebrations will be from 18 – 24 May.

Register your event and receive your free Event Kit containing the Event Kit disc with How to organise events information, factsheets and templates and career development merchandise for distribution at your event. All registered events are listed on the searchable “Events Search” on the website. (www.ncdw.com.au)

Defence Force Liaison Officers

As part of the CDAA’s endeavours to broaden our partnerships with industry, government and the broader community, the CDAA is continuing its contract with Defence Force Recruiting (DFR) for a second year. The new agreement includes an expansion in the number of CDAA Members taking on the role of DFR Liaison Officers. Queensland Floods and Victorian Bushfires

In this time of immense sadness and devastation, we are called as practitioners to do all that we can, both spiritually and practically, to stand in solidarity with those affected in the Victorian Bushfires and North Queensland floods.

Our thoughts and prayers for the people who died in the bushfires, as well as those experiencing the grief of losing loved ones, family homes and cherished pets and belongings in Victoria, and also for the communities affected by severe flooding in North Queensland.

We are also urged to give generously to emergency appeals being established. You may wish to consider the following:
