ABCD - Blueprint Resources Wanted
|
After years of development and trialling, the Australian Blueprint for Career Development is being refined and will be released in early 2009.
Staff at Miles Morgan have just refined the prototype and its appendices and are now developing a professional development kit, compiling support resources and designing a website that will house these materials.
If you have any materials that you have developed to help you to operationalise the Blueprint, and you are willing to share these with others, we would love to hear from you.
It is hoped that you are as excited as we are by these new developments. Miles Morgan would be pleased if you would let others in your career development networks know that further information on these developments will be made available at: www.milesmorgan.com.au/projects/abcd as the project progresses.
Of course, if you have any queries in the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact Christine Haines on 08 930 6633 or email: info@milesmorgan.com.au

ACER Report - Early school leavers take up education, training and employment
|
A recently released study by ACER has found that only four per cent of 17 year olds who had not completed Year 12, participated in an alternative vocational program or found full time employment.
"When TAFE courses and apprenticeships are considered alongside Year 12 completion rates, we have more young Australians completing Year 12 or a vocational
equivalent than is sometimes thought," ACER's chief executive Professor Geoff Masters said.
