Breaking News – Tim Costello to give keynote address

CDAA National Career Conference
Melbourne 15-17 April 2009

CDAA is very proud to announce news just to hand – World Vision CEO, Tim Costello will give a keynote address at the CDAA National Careers Conference. Tim’s address, titled Career Development – Sharing the Vision will take place in the afternoon session of the second day of the conference: Thursday 16 April at the Grand Hyatt hotel, Melbourne.

In this keynote presentation Tim will focus on his work at World Vision - what he and World Vision are being called to do and the challenges they are facing. He will discuss that agenda in relation to current issues of social inclusion, employability and the impact of the financial crisis and how career development can impact positively in these areas. Tim will also share his thoughts about the potential for service learning.

We also announce with regret that previously advertised keynote speaker Wendy Hirsh from the UK will not be able to attend to the conference due to unexpected family commitments.

Register for the conference now using our easy on-line option by following the links at CDAA website: www.cdaa.org.au. Early bird extended to March 6 – so don’t delay.
